High-Performance Meal: Glass Noodle Asian Salad

High Performance Meal!

We get it, you're busy and you want to feed your family healthier meals that nurture you too! You don't have heaps of time to shop and cook either. ā£

They're one serving bowl dinners that are easy and quick to make, provide massive nutrition, and contain foods that specifically support consistent energy, focus, and stamina. ā£
ā£
This meal is a Korean inspired dish: š—šš—¹š—®š˜€š˜€ š—”š—¼š—¼š—±š—¹š—² š—¦š—®š—¹š—®š—±. You can whip it up in less than 30 minutes. ā£
ā£


1. Prep Glass noodle, or other Asian noodle like Udon or Rice noodles, for your base. ā£
2. Stir fry your favorite vegetables. ā£
3. Stir fry onions, garlic, ginger and squares of tofu, tempeh, seitan, or other favorite protein source.ā£
4. Season with soy sauce and pepper or the delicious Asian sauce below! 
5. Add toasted sesame seeds for extra brain power :-)ā£

Asian Sauce:

  • 1.5 Tbs lime juice
  • 2. Tbs Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 2 Tbs Soy Sauce
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp red pepper flakes or 1 tsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1.5 Tbs sweetener like maple syrup or agave nectar 
  • 1 Tbs fresh grated ginger or 1/2 tsp powdered ginger 

Mix all ingredients together. 

    
We have 2 young boys and we want them to be the best they can be and part of that is making sure they're empowered to eat the best food available. We are't into forcing them to eat healthy food, we strive to inspire them to want it! ā£
